Kafue Fisheries game farm was established in 1988 and was the first commercial venture of its kind in Zambia. The farm covers areas of flood plain, acacia and albizia woodland, with a backdrop of the Munali hills.  

There are 15 antelope species on the farm -  
Eland
Greater kudu
Blue wildebeest
Crawshay's waterbuck
Tsessebee
Lichenstein's Hartebeest
Kafue Lechwe
Impala
Puku
Sitatunga
Reedbuck
Chobe bushbuck
Duiker
Oribi

....as well as a family of southern giraffe,
Burchell's zebra,
and warthog.

Walking through the game farm offers excellent close up views of the various species of mammal & bird indigenous to Kafue Fisheries. There is a well laid out network of roads & footpaths throughout the 4000 acres (approx) allowing a choice of beautiful walks.
